Job Description

We’re looking for a passionate & inspiring manager with impeccable standards to join our Estate Management Team at the Waitrose Farm and Estate in Leckford, Hampshire.

This role is also known internally as Facilities Management Delivery Manager.

What’s the role about:

This key role is all about leading and managing a great customer-centric team, setting and maintaining high standards, all whilst taking ownership and accountability for the Estate Maintenance service provided across the various business units located on the estate. You’ll understand how to build great relationships with key stakeholders, be flexible, approachable and possess a “can-do” attitude.

What you’ll be doing as the Estate Maintenance Delivery Manager 

You’ll be delivering the plan for all areas of maintenance responsibility across the Leckford Estate and role modelling our high best-practice standards. Of course, this will cover all aspects of compliance, insurance, health & safety legislation, everything to keep the Partnership legally compliant and trading without risk or impact. 

You will be a key member of the team and will interface with the wider Partnership construction, project and real estate teams to ensure the safety and coordination of project delivery across the estate.

You’ll be an exceptional leader of a team of maintenance partners. You’ll understand the importance and have comprehensive experience of building and maintaining productive stakeholder relationships with Customer Service as the focus of your activity. You’ll identify and deliver personal & professional training and development opportunities across your team and will be responsible for budgetary management and capital spend across areas of responsibility. 

This role requires you to manage your stakeholders superbly; collaborate, influence and negotiate as much as you can; lead the way with IT efficiencies; all while leading your team through changing times.

What you’ll already have:

Excellent knowledge of implementing and managing maintenance systems to best practice standards, you will have a proven track record of delivering outstanding maintenance services in a multi-disciplinary environment. Experience in shaping and influencing maintenance delivery and a commitment to continuous improvement. 

Experience in a food processing environment is highly desirable. Strong people management skills with the ability to lead and motivate the team to deliver expected results. An ability to establish and build productive relationships with key stakeholders is essential.

What else could you bring:

A comprehensive knowledge and understanding of electrical maintenance qualifications. Experience of working across a diversified agricultural estate is desirable though not essential.
