BT's Enterprise Digital team is responsible for building integrated, scalable, and robust enterprise journeys. We are currently looking for an experienced, cooperative, and passionate Software Engineer with a solid ability to design and execute products that power the enterprise experiences. As a member of Enterprise Digital, you will play a key role in reimagining productivity by shipping transformative products that serve diverse aspects of the enterprise.

 

You'll have the following responsibilities

  • Be a technology leader working closely with the wider product team to innovate and increase our productivity and effectiveness by finding the best approach
  • You will design, implement and ensure the best quality across all parts of the of the application
  • Be able to work autonomously and identify areas in our business journeys and processes to be able to solve problems faster
  • You will collaborate with the product owner to define software requirements for programming effort
  • Work closely with the Engineering Manager and wider team to build the best software we can to support our customers
  • Work across, and build strong relationships with key business stakeholders and technical teams to share knowledge

You'll have the following skills & experience

  • Good understanding of functional and reactive programming
  • Experience with React, TypeScript, Redux, or other modern frontend frameworks
  • Experience with NoSQL DBs, particularly Mongo
  • Experience with CSS and other web styling approaches (Sass, CSS modules)
  • Experience with NodeJS, server-side software development
  • Microservice architecture running in a cloud-based environment
  • Good understanding of agile software development methodologies
  • Good understanding of software lifecycle from planning, through implementation, QA, CI to deployment strategies.
  • 5 + years of industry experience developing applications
  • AEM 6.5 + , Experience with content authoring and developing on AEM or other Adobe marketing cloud products .(Desirable)
  • Good understanding of Java , Springboot enterprise applications.(Desirable)
  • Experience of working in a cloud-based environment, preferably AWS (Desirable)
