Pay and Hours

Working any 5 from 7 days on a rotating basis, this will include some weekend working.

Minimum hourly rate available including shift allowance 

06:00-14:00 am shift £ 10.78

14:00-22:00 pm shift £ 12.68

22:00-06:00 nights    £ 13.44

About the role 

Within this role you will undertake a range of tasks including housekeeping duties along with ensuring that goods are stored and replenished accurately and safely. Safe practice and use of mechanical training equipment. 

John Lewis Magna Park 1 & 2 is John Lewis’s National Distribution Centre replenishing both our stores and delivering goods to our customers. We hold around 11 million units of stock, and pack up to 215,000 items for our customers a day. MP1 is a semi automated warehouse, housing smaller ‘binnable’ goods while MP2 has a manual ‘non binable’ goods area, and is home to our cutting edge automated Hanging Garment Solutions department. As a Warehouse Apprentice you will be expected to work in all areas of the Campus.

What else will I be doing?

Other daily tasks will see you: 

• Adhering to all Health and Safety and Operational procedures

• Keeping the warehouses as safe environments for all Partners to work in 

• Please note that this role involves some heavy lifting

Desirable experience skills and qualifications: 

• Basic standards of written English and basic Math
