4Leisure Recruitment are working exclusively with The Royal Parks, London. We are recruiting for Lifeguards for the Boating & Swimming provision, at Hyde Park Boat House (Boating), Regents Park (Boating) & Serpentine Lido (Swimming).

As Lifeguard, you’ll champion health and safety while providing bather and user supervision. You will proactively ensure appropriate customer behaviour during use of the lido and boating, you’ll be required to undertake all day-to-day cleaning, maintenance and remedial work of relevant equipment and fittings to the highest possible, working collaboratively as part of the venue operations team on a shift rota basis, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the facility, whilst providing operational support in all areas to ensure delivery of an exceptional customer experience. You will also ensure the safe embarking and disembarking from our boat fleet and drive the safety boats in the boating lakes.

On offer is an hourly rate of £12 per hour. This is a fixed term or casual position, running from May – December, you have the option of being re-employed and returning in March 2023 after you enjoy some months off.

NPLQ & Open Water qualifications are needed for this role, if you do not have these at present, do not worry, we can give you the training providing you have the relevant experience within a leisure / visitor-based environment. If you are NPLQ qualified, you can do a 1-day conversion course with us.
