We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Senior Treasury Manager. The successful candidate will be focussed on meeting our safeguarding, liquidity and working capital requirements, as well as ensuring our controls and reporting are efficient and accurate. The role needs to understand what drives treasury results and risks, be experienced in multi-currency management, as well as create and implement plans to scale the function, improve financial outcomes and mitigate risks. 

In this role you will

  • Ensure compliant and efficient payment flows with payment service providers, safeguarding and reconciliation processes
  • Be responsible for managing safeguarding accounts in line with e-money regulatory needs
  • Provide oversight on regulatory capital requirements and forecasts and ensure adequate capital coverage across a range of subsidiary entities
  • Development optimal working capital requirements and projections
  • Be responsible for managing daily liquidity risk by monitoring the accounting flows and ensuring the operational accounts are reconciled and with sufficient reserves.
  • Prepare relevant reporting to the financial regulatorsDevelop and tracking of Treasury KPIs and monthly reporting pack
  • Implement and manage FX exposures and recommend and implement appropriate  strategies, risk management and reporting 
  • Manage and mature the corporate treasury policy to ensure coverage of all treasury risks, lead control implementation & monitor compliance

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements: 

  • Have working knowledge of fintech business, EMI licence and safeguarding (UK, EU as a minimum)
  • Experience of Treasury mgmt. position in Fintechs is essential 
  • Experience of management of multi-currency exposures
  • Ability to work independently, strong self-starter attitude, willingness to do multiple finance related tasks and coach others
  • Highly accomplished in financial modelling and analytics
  • Strong communication skills at senior leadership level
  • Working knowledge of FX management instruments, e.g. currency swaps
  • Proven track record within Treasury Management
