Based at our John Lewis National Distribution Centre in Fenny Lock, Milton Keynes, our Vehicle workshop team ensures our fleet of Waitrose and John Lewis vehicles remain well maintained and road-worthy. 

As a Vehicle Technician within the team, you’ll be working on a wide variety of vehicles from our small delivery vans right through to our LGV lorries. It will be your job to  ensure  all  vehicles  are  maintained  to  a  safe  and roadworthy   standard   to   both   VOSA   and   Partnership’s requirements and to ensure that the relevant sections of all inspection/service and defect sheets are completed in compliance with our ‘O’ Licence  obligations. As well as carry out high quality repairs in a cost effective manner.

Essential Experience/Qualifications required:

• City and Guilds 1,2,3 Vehicle Technician or equivalent qualification

• A proven background in transport commercial vehicle repairs, 

• A knowledge of commercial vehicle legislation and road-worthiness

Other Experience/Qualifications you could bring?

• IRTEC

• DCPC

• LGV (Large Goods Vehicle) C+E driving licence Full UK driving licence

• Good interpersonal and IT skills

Duties and Responsibilities

The salary offered for this role is up to £42 700, plus applicable 33.33% Nights shift premium and overtime.
37.5 hours per week- Various Nights Shift Patterns Available
