ROLE RESPONSIBILITY

Job Introduction


Selfridges has a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Data Analyst. As a Customer Analytics Manager, you will join the Customer Analytics Team working on a wide range of customer analytics projects to support key business priorities, as well as responding to ad hoc requests for data/insights

As part of this, you will:

• Analyse large data sets, using Salesforce Tableau CRM to provide insights to key stakeholders, helping put the customer at the centre of decision making

• Work with stakeholders to better understand their requirements, and lead the delivery of key customer analytics projects, dealing comfortably with ambiguity.

• Support the analytics workstreams on key insight-driven projects involving cross-functional insights (e.g. research, analytics, NPS, market intelligence) to support key business priorities e.g. improving customer retention, understanding the Personal shopping customer

• Work with the Customer Analytics Manager to deliver key customer reports e.g. data capture rates, and deliver efficiencies in production/delivery through Einstein Analytics

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

Essential:

• 3+ years of practical experience as an analyst in data-driven organizations
• Excellent SQL skills
• Proven experience dealing with large, complex datasets of different varieties (e.g. digital data, transactional data, marketing data) and evidence of being able to transform data into actionable insights
• Experience building dashboard or self-serve tools, with a preference for Tableau CRM (formerly Einstein Analytics - Salesforce)
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and aggregation of data
• Time management skills: Ability to meet deadlines while dealing with multiple priorities.
• Passionate about the customer - you are passionate about improving the customer experience through delivering actionable insight
• Impeccable attention to detail
• A passion for solving new problems, learning new skills and furthering your understanding along the way.


Desirable:


• Previous Salesforce (Core or Marketing Cloud) experience
• Experience using web analytics software, preferably GA360
• Experience using mathematical/statistical methods to create models and/or forecasts is desirable. Familiarity with statistical software e.g. R, Python, is also a plus
• Experience in the retail sector
